A launch email that reads as a 5-month product design diary

The branding lesson

Astropad introduced the graphite tip for Rock Paper Pencil 4.0 with a first-person email, “Five months living on graphite,” signed by Savannah Antillon of Team Astropad. It tells how product designer Giovanni “used a standard 2B graphite pencil as our north star,” links a “sound on” video comparing pencil and tip, says she has lived on the graphite tip for five months, and ends with a P.S. about her hand-modeling for the photoshoot.
