About

Branding Lessons is a gallery of brand decisions worth learning from: the order email someone read to the end, the tote people carry for years, the receipt that made a customer smile.

Each card shows the work, names what makes it remarkable and turns it into a lesson you can use on your own brand. Brand Builders also see the psychology behind it, with the study that explains why it works.

Every example passes one test: would a customer feel this? Brand size and recency don’t decide what gets in. Care does, and so does a lesson clear enough to borrow.

The gallery is curated by Laura Busche, author of Brand Psychology (Routledge) and Lean Branding (O’Reilly), who holds a doctorate in consumer psychology. New lessons arrive every week, and the best story of the week goes out on Sunday in the Brand Memo.
